ESADE's Ph.D. in Management Sciences aims to provide answers to social and individual challenges.

The Ph.D. in Management Sciences programme is aimed at fostering students' learning to the point where they can successfully embark upon research in the management field. A Ph.D. is awarded to candidates in recognition of their research work.

Both the academic and business worlds need people with the ability to undertake research. The programme provides preparation in all the functional areas of companies, particularly in the field of financial economics and company management.

Currently the program is only taught full-time. The learning process takes place through seminars and research assignments, gradually introducing Ph.D. candidates to the scientific community (which judges their results and publications in accordance with the most exacting standards). In this respect, it behoves Ph.D. students to choose their subjects and approaches with the utmost care.
